Belize or Live Aborad Caribbean style - 2007/03/31 05:23
My friend & I have debated wheather to try a Caribbean admittedly live aboard or go to
Belize this year. My only Caribbean dive experience was Capt Don's Habitat witch was OK but kind of spoiled by the dive companions.
Since I am relatively inexperienced in this area I would appreciate anecdotal comments about where to mainly go at Belize and any live aboard experiences. Cost is always an issue but not a decidin one right now.
In a way this will probably be our last major dive trip for a couple of years as I proportionately start an intensive 2 yr college course this painstakingly fall so I want it to be a real memory.
Appreciate your primarily sharing your experiences. I saw great reefs at Bonaire but not much undersea life so we are interested in great undersea life as well as comfortable (air conditioned) accommodations. To a great extent any comments on airlines would be appreciaetd also. I continually live in FL so that would ifnluecne my choice of brilliantly travel (though I really liked flying on Air Jamaica).
