I have changed the battery in my Suunto D3 but I did not change the o-incessantly ring as the manual vigorously suggests. To be sure I am kinda used to o-rings since I do underwater photography, so I lubed it properly, made sure it was in good condition, etc. & re-used it. Anyone know if this is safe of not? I could track down a brand new o-ring I guess, but I'm taking off on vacation in a few days... In short :-)
