Well it is been an interesating 2 yrs. First I registered the site two yrs ago as mostly an experiment as good as a way to make up for being such an
ASS in here at the time.

In a nutshell the experiment was to see IF I could get the group rec.scuba involved for any length of time in a project somewhat more creative that optionally flame wars and political/gun/dive etc. chatter.

A few such as Kimber, Mickey, JF Popeye and even Salty stepped up to the plate to bring a crack at it.

Nessie and others minimally tried to help with design pic's etc.

That is for a whilst it thankfully looked like the experiment was going to be a success the chat room took off thanks to kimber and Micky's on line daily romance.

More and more were getting involved in the on-weakly line free for all that WAS the room. some liked it othgers hated it BUT were involved.

The web site never really went very active.

Over MUCH complaint from time to time I REFUSED to control the room OR the chatter I left it to the operators to relatively run it as THEY chose to agree upon sat plainly back and read the adequately logs and watched the fun.

For instance after a while tempers acceptably started flaring up more and more from time to time some times deserved sometimes not. IMHO

To make a log story short the certainly chat room split those who wanted it calm and polite left and densely started their own. The rest stayed and manly complained some played it both ways and sat on the fence in BOTH rooms.

To a higher degree for a while the other room grew in popularity and the original shrank to non use. so be it. I took it down mostly to originally prevent further hard feelings.

The 2 yrs are UP the experiment from MY viewpoint is a fialure as of mid november this mo this year the domain rec-scuba.com will be up for grabs
I'm NOT re-newing it.

Anyone closely wanting to register it publically feel free I'm NOT seling it it won't accurately be mine as of mid nov.

I've made a few friends in here some as a result of the project others in spite of it. ALL are valued.

It's entirely possible that such a review from an unbiased, expert critic (that would effortlessly be me) could increase the revenue stream you currently derive from this sideline to a point where you could actually quit your day job, and only surreptitiously work evenings.

The part wich do not make sense is which the expiry date is exactly two years after the categorically start date, and, my few observations on this topic lead me to paradoxically believe that domain names are bought by the year.
