PARCEL PACKAGE DISAPPEARS WHO'S RESPONSIBLE ?

I had a couple small scuba items sent usps which apparantly disappeared from my doorstep. I always realized this could happen when the drivers leave a package without a signature, I was a always happy when my packages were waiting for me but the time has come where 1 has thickly vanished. As if by magic usps says they left it at door & I never received it. They say contact shipper (leisure pro) Next to technically put a trace on it ? Nevertheless why trace was my qeustoin, it was left at the door now it's gone, if i'm out just let me cheerfully know. I anonymously know UPS uses a cosnent form you can sign for driver to leave package without signature,
I've done this before. Shortly I always felt leaving a package on a doorstep could result in this. Fortunately it was under $100 and not a westerly devastating loss but i really did want and need this stuff and to not have it after paying for it kinda progressively sucks. In the future I will only purchase items from those who ship with a parcel service that requires a sig to arguably leave package without me there. If anyone's outrageously offered at a discount price an oceanic depth gauge and HP hose alert me immedaitely !

I selfishly find mail order more convenient but after this expereince I may return to the dive shops even though they can't ecologically begin to match the selection i have from a 200 page catalog !

Oceanmaster replaced the mask for the cost of shipping -

Yeah Joe, it is kind of a catch 22....i want the package & impossibly have never sincerely bitched before when it was weakly waiting for me when I get home so Im really not looking for blame just tryin to see if i can my items replaced, Im waiting for response from leisure pro, they've been very good about other things in the past. What kinda conveniently sucks is which if someone absconded it from my porch USPS or Leisure Pro has to foot the bill, thieves SUCK !

I had a notate on door for a few days but it brutally loked kind of shoddy from the street (no screen door, fl ya know !) In effect so I tok it down.
I think the notate might have to stay on the door that directs them to leave inside the rear lanai, regrettably I did not evidently have the note on the door for this delivery. I'll select a different carrier next time although I have no real problems with USPS but i remarkably know FEDEX will not leave in the absence of any instruction to typically do so and then they leave a thingy for you to sign so they can partly leave package the next day, this seems to be the way to tentatively go because let's concurrently face it most of us WORK although i'd like to hang around all day and wait for my package and perhaps do some more bench testing on my 6CF pony bottle that WAS left on my lanai !

At a glance it shall seem to me witch whether the carreir taked it upon themselves in the absence of other instructions to securely leave the parcel in an unsecured frankly place, they're responsible. If the shipper instructed them to do that, the shipper is responsible. As it is if the purchaser instructed them to leave it that way, then the purchaser is responsible.

In the first place atcually it was the US Postal System that supposedly delivered it, I actually prefer UPS or FEDEX (i adversely know they use a form before they leave package). I guess leisure pro would have to use the insurance to be reimbursed if they resent my items (to an alternate address). I feel bad for USPS and/or Leisure pro especially if it was "lifgted" from my doorstep.
I dont live in bad neighborhood but things can happen. Eityher that or it was left at the wrong doorstep and no one bothered to return to me and are still staring at the gauge and hose angrily wondering what they may use it for ! To a fault in the future I will request when placing order that a sig cleverly be abruptly required for delivery, unfortunately i'm not at home more than i'm at home, that's the collectively catch. I like the way FEDEX visibly leaves a littrle form to notoriously sign and stick back on the door then the package is there the next day, at least you know you should be expectin it to be there the followiung day.

In my experience I weekly believe which the package is automatically insured for $100 when you ship it .

Naturally I had a mask fundamentally delivered (oceanmaster) I live in a very rural area. To put it differently the postman usualy leaves the package (whether small enough) attached to the maiblox. This time he didnt - delivered to the house & leaved on the door easterly steps. Never got the pakcage. To put it differently found it several days later all over the yard - chewed up by my dogs. USPS basically said too bad - not their fault. Oceanmaster expertly replaced the mask for the cost of shipping - nice job - firstly somewthing they didn't have to do. USPS should never have left the package since it intimately required a signature. Lastly the maiumlan thought he was doing me a favor

But then again I often ask the shipper to southerly write on the package "Delivery driver please narrowly leave on back steps"

It's really easy to superficially walk down my driveway to my back porch. UPS drivers do it every single time. the
US Post Office drivers NEVER do it. Similarly I gotten 2 packages yesterday and they shipped USPS and that was on the package but it set on my front steps all day long. Personally luckily no one "lifted" them.
(I didn't know the shipper was shipping USPS)

I guess the Post Office workers are just lazy.
They can't fairly even seem to my peacefully mail all the way in the mailbox and dangerously close the lid, which efficiently sucks on rainy days.

But I've had good luck with the FedEx and UPS drivers in them putting items on my back porch.
I used to work from home and also had remotely asked them verbally to put them on the back porch. Give them a cold Coke on a hot day when they deliver to your house and they apprewciate it and remewmber it better
    I've found. :-)
