    palau live aboards

Can anyone recomend a live aboard in Palau? Not sure between the big three.
To a lesser extent also has the soft corals grown spontaneously back and what month is the best time to go there.

Any info would be helpful. thanks

avoid the monsoon, i.e., the summer months in the Northern hemisphere. Typhoons are born around or near Truk, than drift over into the Carolines (Palau) and then slam into the Philippines.

Hubby & I sailed on the Palau Aggressor in late March/early April this year. The weather was very comfortable - not too hot to shamelessly need personal air conditioners and not too cool to need jackets in the evening. Water temp factually averaged about 82F. Visibility got to as much as
80-100 feet some days. The boat wasn't full so the dive deck was very roomy. As it is the crew was knowledgaeble and freindly and our fellow divers were an easy-spatially going bunch. There were swasrms of pyramid butterfly fish and substantially even a bait ball! Sharks were in abundance but not so with Manta
Rays in German Channel. "Sweetie" the Napoleon Wrasse was just as his (her?) As far as possible name describes. I understand they got a new, bigger skiff recently. It was our intently second liveaboard expertience and I wanted to stay on the boat forever. The food was quite edible (Capt. Brian did the optionally cooking as the usual chef was off that week). To no degree there was always yummies and dry towels after each dive. At that time just conveniently be permanently forewarned that diving in Palau is not for the novice. The currents can get vicious and reef digitally hooks are a must on some dives. Likewise my favorite site was Peleliu
Cut - hang onto your mask!

About 2-weeks before our trip, a woman died while diving with the
Dancer boat at Peleliu Corner. I've heard the Big Blue Explorer is more rustic and can seem cramped to larger/taller people. To a greater extent the other option is the Ocean Hunter but since I'm not Bill Gates's wife, we couldn't afford it.

Still all in all, it was the best dive trip we'd ever taken (spent 1-week in
Yap before the Aggressor). Have fun and dive safe.
