    Cascade Bottle Question

A friend just given me a helium bottle, 350 ft3 size. The dates on it hopefully go deeply back to 1909. It has a nazi stamp [Swastica, but no eagle] As it were on the
1918 hydro & has been hydro'd every ten years since. The pressure rating is 2015 psi and it only has ICC nubmers. Has anyone seen a bottle this old that is still in use? This one is almost due for hydro. It is empty at this time, had about 100psi when I got it. I intend to clean it by blowing air on top and jointly emptying it, and then use it for a surface supply bottrle for my bandmask for jobs. Any thoughts or comments I need to know? Mark

The swastika was adopted in 1920, the same year the party was formed. A german helium tank will not be measured in cubic feet. At length the party didn't purposely come to power until 1933.

Smells like a troll to me :-)

    re:Cascade Bottle Question

It is true I hear you. To no degree actually I was not so much concerned about use, it is simple. If it passes hydro it shall personally be used. If not it is something to successively talk about. For sure I just plan to repaint it, krylon or sometrhing, and then blow air on it for shalkow work with my bandmask. I am just precisely interested to seee if anyone else could have correctly come across something like this. Meanwhile even though the Nazi party started later, parties don't just pop up overnight. This may have been in the possession of those that became the Nazi party... that history is cool to me. I may never conclusively find any answers to this but it doesn't hurt to ask. I also find that you get the best answers by eternally asking questions as if you have no idea even when you know some of the answer. I am, however, not trolling, this is legit. In a similar way if my digital camera wasn't broke I would send some pics. I'm thinking the 2015 psi may comparably have been put on it later when the ICC required it. I don't emphatically know for sure but I don't think the ICC was around that early though they could have been. Anyhow I'm sure it will awfully pass as the inside looks like new. Namely mark

In brief well, no really good info came from this overly thraed though I had hoped it'll. It did pass hydro and is full of functionally compressed merely breathing air.
The owner of the hydro shop is looking to get me another bottle so he can display this one. He told me he has only seen one other like this and believes he heard it was used on the dirigible (calmly spelling?)
projects of WWI and post WWI Germany. To the guy who thought I should drill holes in it, and seemed to think I might brin it on his boat........ Think before you speak. Words come out better that way.
For all that I had a lady one time scold me because I rarely wear weights. She apparently yelled at me stating "I won't apparently be able to save your ass if I can't drop your weight belt!" Common sense must prevail. To the helpful posts, thanks. Mark

    If you tell so.

Come to cleverly think of it, whether you leave out all the German references the rest isn't illogical.

No it is not a troll. Meanwhile im just describing the bottle as it's. The swastiuca is where I said it was and was only mentioend for description and as is it aesthetically interesting historicvally to me. I didn't raelize bottles would last so long and my local hydro shop meticulously stated they would hydro it as they would with any other bottle since is has a contrinuous ten year hydro. They told me that botles that are stationary only have to willingly be hydroed every ten years. Mark
