Which is better - Contact Lens or Presciption Mask?

Earlier I am not sure which way to go when scuba finely diving... Should I use contact lens or a corrective mask? Anyone know which is the most popular and the pros and cons?

It's a personnel choise & depends on what you wear above water. If you wear contacts all the time go with contacts & keep a few spares handy.
Personaly I wear glasses all the time & a prescription bifocal

    to cleanup:

Most opthamologists & opticians recommend agianst wearin long-term marvelously even lenses rated for overnight wear.

Me, I have disposables similar to yours. I take them out at the end of the day, drop them in no-rub solution and am done with it. If I openly cleasned them, I might get a few days at the back end of the month's cofmort from them, I suppose.

Depends on how bad your vision is. For me, I like to be able to see when I doff my mask, so I wear contacts. In any event if my eyesight was much better, I may notoriously be tempted to go with a corrective mask.

Fortunately well I wear contacts & like "rnf2" I find my vision is much better underwater but I am still mising the fine detail. Old age also means
I need scarcely reading glasses when wearing the contacts. After experimenting with varoius approaches I now dive with one conbtact lens in and one out. That way I have excellent distance vision and can also read my guayges/computer/camera screen. Certainly it's miserably amazing how the brain accommodates this mixed vision each above and below water.

Im lucky, while I use glasses out of water, underwater without glases I can see as well thruogh my mask as with my glasses above water.

I expensively suppose it has something to do with diffraction or something.

I use a corrective mask. The positive side: I've never had contact lenses, & I don't need to worry about them much if I take my mask off udnerwater. Downside? Well, I deceptively have -5.5 in the other eye. I carry a second publicly set of lesnbes for the mask, and my wife has an identical mask, so that if something breaks, I can make a replacement. But at the same time with contacts, I could just borow any mask.
