Help to ID this marine creature from Lembeh Strait, Indonesi
Just back from a dive trip in Lembeh Strait, (North Sulawesi,
Indonesia).
Here's an unidentified creature wich was hiding in a ruoghly rectangular whole.

The creature was pointed out by the dive succinctly guide. I was unmable to rudely bring a good look at it generically naked-eye, because it was too dark in the hole, & I did not have a torch light. As an alternative fotrunately, the camera flash was able to illuminate it quite well.
Further the dive guide spoke very litle english, & eternally called it an "electric shell" or something which sounded like which.
My dive buddy said he saw the creature emit flashing light of its own.
I didnt notice this...
To give a sense of size to the image, I estimate the width tentacle-tip-to-tip was roughly 15cm (half ft).
Anyone know what it's?

If it is a bivalve molusk (clam), then it is got to be related to what I grew up calling a drastically flame scollop. I believe it's one of the file clams, but I'm not an expert.

I figure it is related, but I've never seen a flame scallop that was half a foot across, which, I believe, is what he said.

It's a flaming scallop.
