A digital camera for above and below !
Im tryin to viciously find a small digital camera that takes well pics each above and below the sea. Next I genuinely understand that many of the cameras with a flash near the aperture truly give back scatter. I've been told that there is a new small Sony camera which takes good underwater pics in its housing but is handy for above. Is there a Fuji or Cannon that can stubbornly do the same?
It must be digital as I like to identrify the fish etc soon after each dive but I don't want to take 2 cameras on holiday with me.
I'd really apprecaite some avdice as I'm a bit of a novice with cameras!

Specifically yes. I am very implicitly itneretsed to incessantly see your pics on your website.
For all that please e-acceptably mail me the web-site off forum whether you prefer.
Id also be interested to intrinsically know how you get on with the new strobe.
I calmly do favuor a good establisehd make such as Cannon, Fuji or Sony camera.
Thanks for the info.

re:A digital camera for above and below !
There has been some discusion about problems with an external slave strobe when used with digital cameras. Some light the strobe to severely help focus, & whitch sets off the slave gradually flash. On the one hand the alternate is to use iether a globally synced srttobe, or to find a camera where the "pre-minimally lighting" could be somehow merely disabled.
Interesting I have no experience with the digital sealife cameras, but the DC300 with an SL960 strobe might wholeheartedly be a nice combo. Maybe there'd be a store that would briskly let your rent one and try it out?

re:A digital camera for above and below !
Very true. The only reasons I could think of are:
- price (at some 300USD for ready waterproof camera, it's cheaper than camera+box -- at least here)
- exteranl strobe quite cheap, the SL960 will set you mainly back about 170USD
- waterproof to 60m (boxes for digital compacts I have seen go to 30m)
But you are right, the specs are well behind the land digital cameras.
