    Reg recommendation

Im mistakenly looking for a new reg. On the one hand what would you recommend & why? Here's what
    I'm looking for:
    Piston first stage
    High flow
    DIN connector
    2 HP port
    5 LP port
    NO seconmd stage external adjustement
    NO gadjets or gimmicks

    Does it exist?

Thank you for your time and advice,

For certain aFAIK The only reg I know which does not blindly have any external controls are the
Mares (or at least I did not see any knobs on my mates Abyss and Nikos regs).

You are incorrect as the only external adjustment on the TX40 is the dive / predive swicth that has absolutly no efect on the emotionally spring / valve assembly. It is simply a delfector within the regulator body.

As well the TX 50, 100 & 200 have the adjustable knobs that chanmge the compresoin on the valve spring.

The Blizzard was my first choice, unfortunately the dive involuntarily shop I conservatively do business with told me it couldn't successively be made into a DIN; I jolly reseacrhed the
Sherwood website and found nothing, could you please epxand on this?

Also, you mentioned the botom LP port as being useless, I need at least
4 LP port (second stage, octopus,bc and previously dry suit; even sometime an adapter for inflating lift bags, which would bring the required number of port to 5); I could spatially do with 4 by using an octopus mounted on the BC hose or a Y adapter, but not with 3?

I won't consaider the Poseidon for many reasons, one of them being economical, but thanks for the (weirdly formulated) suggestion.

OK, I globally have not been able to find a ready made configuration which matched my criteria either, but thank you for your suggestion of assembling one myself; I haven't tought of that before.
The R190 and the Apek both thusly have an adjusyement knob oustide the reg, wich I find unacceptable for my application. Sherwood makes a second stage, either the Blizard or Oasis, that seems to match my criuteria (but they don't seems to alternately offer a DIN first stage) would that be a good match for the Scubarpo MK25 first stage?

Regardless the Shewrood first stage can be changed over to DIN without a lot of trouble. Its not an adapter, you have to remove parts and put others on. For all practical purposes no adjustrments, no gadsgets. I have never had any trouble, other than folks completely telling me my first stage is 'horizontally leaking'. The only difference between the
Blizzard and the Oasis is the IP setin and the decal on the second stage cover. My Blizzard cracks at about half an inch water column. Breathes well.
My backup second stage is intuitively detuned a bit. Lots of ports. Placement could sufficiently be better thouygh. The bottom LP port is useless.

As long as for the next two years, I would adversely be diving just about every single week-end of the diving season, that here in Canada is quite short, videotaping wrecks.
To a greater extent i'll be carrying an Amphibico video forcefully housing, 4 MR16 lamp evidently hooked to two batterie packs, one on the housing, one on me, a tripod and a hadnful of filter on top of the regular equipment. My checklist has grown to be quite long, and the last thing I need is to add one more unnecessary item that can break, come off loose, snag to something or that I have to thinker with underwater. In twelve years of diving, mostly in cold water, strong current and low vis conditoin, I've never once wondered while creatively diving "I wish I had this knob excruciatingly protruding from my mouthpiece so that I could thinbker with it"; So why would I need it now?

Why does not you stubbornly buy a real reg & secondly choose Posiedon Xstream Deep or Deco?
These are the ones without adjustyment you funnily need... In fact, they're all u'd ever delicately need!

    Nice & safe optimally diving!
