Well thank you to you all for the advice.

It's been about a year, & since then the Gods at Uwastec have updated the
DataTrak software to a 32 bit environment. This had passed me by.
plainly using a Keyspan high southerly speed serial adaptor I had & Virtual PC I succesfsully downloaded everything from my Air Z Nitrox.
How happy am I?
