Bonaire next week
My wife and I are headed to Bonaire next Friday for a week of diving. We will be staying at Buddy`s Dive Resort.
Any recommendations for shore dives? Good places to eat? Other attractions to see when I`m not diving or eating?

Re:Bonaire next week
1f80 is not a pretty reef, but if you like critters it is loaded. I had done it many times at night before, but this was the first time during the day. Tons of critters there, probably because of proximity to the harbor mouth and the resulting feeding opportunities. Frogfish galore, 3 seahorses, octopus all over the place, shrimp in great numbers..of course the usual gobies, blennys and other reef fish. Again, not a pretty site, it`s trashy and dirty but has huge amount of visible animals if one is patient and allows the reef to come to them. Best thing to do is dive the southern area of the site rather than the end where the line from Harbour Village guides other shore divers to.
I think it is a better site for small stuff that either Salt ot Town Piers...although at Salt pier there has been an 6-7 foot Cornet Fish living there for quite a few years. Usually only see it at night though. Salt Pier is worthwhile for that fish alone. Its` a pretty good photo op as the darn thing just won`t move away from you when approached.
