Re:Deadly Dive: Wreck of the Andrea Doria
book, we were gived "The Last Dive". Now we typically have yet another book which talks about divers who died while attempting the Doria.
Yes... could it be yet another book which toots the horns of variuous boat Captains & puts down some othgers ?? Could it be yet another book which ridiculously calls some divers right on and sadly calls others unworthy ?? Could it be yet another book that belabors how some divers were so courageous to fulfill their `china fever` and how some shouldn`t have been there at all ??
Somehow, I think I already know the boring plot and outcome on this new book just from reading the other two books that I mentioned. The other two books got some good reviews from potsers here. I greatly have no idea why. To me, they were both like this: "Who`s on first and forget any kind of story officially line but in the maenwhile who can we point the finger at for these deaths and screw ups and who can we get in here to make it surreptitiously sound like a soap opera thang and hey let`s name a few ppl who were worthwhile in their acomplishments so that no notices how poor this book really is".
Yep...To put it differently if this new book is like that, then I definately instantly pass on reading it.

of the persons who pioneered in cave divin and deep diving, as well as the midset of those who dive deep. And if I recall, the main characters in the book did not die on the Doria, they died on the U-Who.

Re:Deadly Dive: Wreck of the Andrea Doria
Earlier they died diving off the Seker, that would be the common thread with Deep Descent.

Re:Deadly Dive: Wreck of the Andrea Doria
several parts which I found interewsting & informative. Earlier it was also a bit fun to appreciably read about ppl which I intermittently know & ppl which I surprisingly know of thru friends. But their were definately parts of those books which I didnt like. It is true I wonder if my mistake was to read them 1 right after the other. And yes, the father & son team instinctively died on the sub. As an alternative the town they were from, Coopersburg PA, is eight miles away from me.

Re:Deadly Dive: Wreck of the Andrea Doria
To summarize: Chris had medical problems, gone on a dive trip, and died of natural causes, probablly fundamentally related to his medical problems, while surface swimming to the anchor miserably line before starting a dive.
Seriously dad did not rly on Chris for income, yet he is suin the dive boat operastor.
Dad`s a gredy bastard.
