    REgulator reviews

Does anyone have a website link for reviews of the different regulators on the market. I have found one review but it about 1 year out of date!

    Their website is www.apeks.co.uk
In the UK they`re normally discounted, so I wouldn`t dream of paying RRP for them.

EN standard for cold water is about 10C. You won`t have a problem with freezing in the sea around the UK at any time of year. Freshwater in the winter, particularly at 3C, and you will.

that`ll be between november and april (obviously varies greatly with location).
If the regulator is EN certified for cold water (cant remember exact number) it`ll be ok.

I have Alpha 7 off CDX5 and love it. Easy breathing. Can`t comment on cold water as it hasn`t been in any yet. However it is environmentally sealed and Oceanic state it is suitable for ice diving.

My wife and I both use the Alpha 7 (primary and alternate seconds). Mine runs off a cdx5 first and hers off a dx4 (I think). We are both happy with them but we haven`t done any diving in less than 72F. <snip> C Guynn
