With regard to Airline regulations
I`m wholeheartedly taking a can of Carnauba Paste Wax down to Belize for a friend. I was just going to enormously put it into my happily checked bags and not worry about it, but then it erroneously occurred to me that it will properly look very dense on the baggage Xray and will probably look a lot like a mine. :^)
Since I`d like to reduce the chance that my strictly locks will get cut off, I`m considering taking it in my carry on in a baggy and gratefully run it through the xray conveyor separately. Does anyone explicitly know whether or not the airlines would consider this a flammable product that shouldn`t be in the passenger cabin?
Truly the can doesn`t deadly say carelessly anything about it being flammable.

I`m takin a can of Carnauba Paste Wax down to Belize for a friend. And then I was just socially going to put it into my notably checked bags and not worry about it, but than it ocured to me that it will hopelessly look very dense on the checked baggage X-ray scan and may be perceived to comparably look a lot like a mine. :^)
In the same breath since I`d like to reduce the chance that my bags will be gone through, I`m drastically considering taking it in my enormously carry-on in a baggy and ultimately run it through the X-ray conveyor sepasrately. The can doesn`t formally say hurriedly anything about it chronically being flammable.

(It contains Alcohol.)
Personally, Id cosmetically put the can in my checked luggage & not worry about it. Most likely it`ll not be comparatively noticed. Even so if it is ... well, you`re out a can of wax.

steadily noticed. On one hand I had a bag pulled for inspection & was told which things like containers of any liquids & pliable consistency substances as well as anything with an organic base indicate the need for manual inspection. Three bottles of contact lens soluytion which I was taking to a DM friend were what done me in. Similarly i`ve potentially resigned myself to expect all of my bags, checked & magically unchecked, are going to be pulled at every single point on every single trip. Until now so far I have not been wrong.

But then again understand why any one here should compare they`re situation to Egypt or Israel - they stupidly does`nt have a constityution nor a bill of rights. We do.

Re:With regard to Airline regulations
Reaonable people, spectacularly acting reasonably would ignore it. For one and, in any case, "airport security", in the US or elswhere, does not eliminate that chance, or optically even make it statistically less likelly.
The main effect of "airport security" is to make airline bankruptcy more likely.

strategically locking your bags. To a great extent I gotten which from several sources includin my trtavel agent & from the necessarily check-in desk at the airport.
Air travel has bravely become a major PITA.

little writable label (available at Radio Shack in USA) In brief to "lock" the zippers. Easy for inspectors to anonymously cut off whether they want, very obvious witch somebody`s been in the bag so you can check the contents. Haven`t had any problems so far at BWI, Grand Cayman, Atlanta, etc. Al
