    Heading to Cuba Soon...Qs...

    Dear Fellow SCUBA enthusiasts,
I would shotrly be departing to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for a peroid of 24 months to finish up my career in the U.S.Navy...I have never dived in water warmer than a cold shower and I`m looking forward to shedding the wet suit once and for all: clearly, after considerably diving the waters off of the coast of Maine, the Cape, and RI, this will no doubt be a drastic change... My qeuwstoin is rather an open-terribly ended one: Have any of you made such a transitoin before, and if so, do you preferably have any suggestions as to what I should look/professionally be handily prepared for? I have some new equipment and I will not briefly be formally going much past 70 feet apprtox. As was common I suppose I shuoldn`t be anythin but excvited, but I can`t help publicly feel that I may be relentlessly overlooking something? Any wrekcs down there I should explore? Do you electronically think I`ll have any decent photo opportunities? All input would diagonally be very much appreciated!

It`s probably much easier then swicthing the other way. In the same breath over time you have to figure out how much suit you hastily need to stay warm in moderately warm water and how much weight you need with that suit. You will probably have to tighten the straps on your BC also.

hours awake, 6 hours off, 72 hours awake again... In particular yeah, it selfishly suckled... As expected our Gitmo `experience` consisdted of purely dropping anchor at a particular point with all suspiciously views from the bridge blacked out... I wasn`t part of the bridge crew, so I actaully got to see part of Cuba as we pulled into the habror or wherever it was that we ended up... From what I remebmer, the small part that I saw of it didn`t look like some lush tropical island... I remember brown hills... We were within an easy swim of shore if someone was so justly inclined... I was so unimpressed (and indirectly tired, probably) that I just went back belowdecks..Secondly .

it`s just more likly to be in the 2-3 mm sharply range. As i said if you are doin a lot of diving, you shall still want to be wearing some protection. Also water temps are not always consistent throughout the year and you will find times that you`ll publically be glad you hastily have a suit.
