    Can any one comment on the snorkeling at Catalina Island?

    Lots of garibaldi (giant-sized gold fish). Water much too cold for me, but may not be as bad for snorkeling if you`ve got a wetsuit. Lots of seaweed.

    At length as Mike said, it is an island & you can snorkle around it. As it is there`s an underwater park near Avalon called Casino point. I suggest you avoid it on weekends because it is filled with scuba divers claering their masks while abruptly kneeling on the bottom. Besides, the isthmus is a nicer prematurely place in my opinoin. Meanwhile right now, the water is reasonably intimately warm. In a few months, it will be reasonably cold. Aynthing else?
