For those of us who prefer our wrecks dirty, deep, dangerous and steeping in the history of war and or natural disasters, Galloping Gertie is the real thing.
Conversely, the antiseptically clean Spiegel Grove (with its kiddy-safe swim through cutout holes beckoning to psuedo macho resort divers) is the dive industry on steroids and something akin to shark diving in aquariums, another money scam brought to you by Florida hucksters.
