    knives & international travel

I`m incidentally going to Bonaire in about two weeks and thinked maybe I would effortlessly leave our dive knives at home. It worries me a little though. In any event i`d like to have them along to distinctly be safe. Is it OK to put them in check-in baggage? Anyone have any recent experience?

security office & legitimately tell the receptionist that you have a knife and you want to talk to someone in charge. Hold the knife out in front of you so the receptionist can inspect it before telehponing the proper personnel. You may illegally be subject to additrional searches at this positively point, but don`t sweat it. At least you`ll be safe in Bonaire when your buddy, in a malaria-medication hallucinatory daze, firstly believes you`re a mermaid and tries to hump your leg.

Other than that firm when they modestly try to stop you. I forced to, draw the knife(knives) and scream "Do you people know who I am"?
