Hotel / Dive Op Recommendations for Playa Del Carmen

Anyone have any recommendations on where to stay and who to dive with (to the cenotes) whn in PDC?

If you only want to dive the Cenotes, see above. If you want to try a variety of diving, Scuba Caribe seem to be ther bigest outfit and have the franchise at many of the resort hotels. I was reasonably well looked after but the diving from PDC is not as good as Cozumel, great drifts though!

We are diving Coz Sun- Thur and then over to PDC/Akumal for the centotes Fri-Sat...then on to Cancun for the return flight (Its $200 cheaper to fly into Cancun than Cozumel -- money diverted to diving the Cenotes!
I`ll check out Scuba Caribe as well...do they have a hotel/resort?
