    Lost camera in Cozumel

Will diving the palancar reef october 31 with a canon a60 in a watertight case to 125' and taking breath taking shots, it accidently got out of hand or the strap broke! Anyways we lost it and the dive master told us to write about it on a forum cause for some reason it had happened to another one of his groups not too long ago and some diver had found it.So here goes if you don't try you'll never know i guess! It's supposed to float .

    Indeed. Again: good luck B)

You have to take into account two things here:

    1. that it didn't float out to sea
    2. that people are indeed as honest as to return it if they found it and see this

(Did you stay in contact with the divemaster btw, just in case someone found it later and gave it to him?)

We had a sticker on the camera with the phone number and name, luckily we had emptied all but the days pics .We left our email and phone # at the blue angel dive shop in cozumel while stating that we would pay anyone who found it, plus the shipping costs of course. According to the dive master it should have made it to a beach on riviers maya the next morning, the wind and current he said. As for giving it back i believe!
    No but realistically we'll see.

Perhaps it is still laying there somewhere on that beach in a place out of sight.

I know of 3 or 4 cameras (one video camera) found last year at Richelieu Rock, Thailand. . All were posted for owners but nobody responded.

TimA that's probably because people do not know the url to websites publishing these lost items?
