gateway to the Egyptian Red Sea's deep south
As more and more divers discover the diving areas of northern Egypt, attention has begun to turn to the dive sites of southern Egypt. South Egypt offers warm, clear waters and lush coral gardens without a hint of pollution, along hundreds of kilometres of almost uninhibited coastline. For our purposes, South Egypt is the area along the Red Sea coast from Marsa Alam all the way to the southern border of Sudan. With the Eastern Desert to the west, this rugged arid region is one of the most isolated areas in Egypt, although the teeming Nile valley lays only couple of hours away from the coast by road.
The gateway to the Egyptian Red Sea's deep south, the diving in Marsa Alam was once only accessible by liveaboard boat. Now, both experienced and beginner divers can enjoy the untamed beauty of its dive sites, along with the comfort of a shore base, in this tranquil and relaxed resort.
Bedouin Valley Ecolodge is located 14 Km from Marsa Alam Down town and 70KM from Airport of Marsa Alam. The place is idle for relaxing or diving in the red sea like Shaab Marsa Alam, Elphinistone Reef and Samadai ( Dolphin House).
Bedouin Valley Ecolodge -Tondoba bay is located in front of the most popular dive/snorkel site "Dolphin House"; also they have access to Elphinistone reef which is famous of head hummer sharks
