    SmartTrak 1.0130 issue

I have just upgraded my SmartTrak to 1.0130 and all I get is the splash screen and nothing else. Windows XP task manager shows it running so it is not in "non responding" state. But no menues or anything else happens. I checked the manual and could find nothing. I tried putting my IRDA device in and that was working; thinking it might kick SmarkTrak into working but no joy!

The PC is a Dell Dimension 5000 WindowsXP Home with latest SP and updates. Previous version of SmarkTrak worked just fine...beginning to wish I had no bothered :-(

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks

    SmartTrak 1.0130 issue

Ok that was me being an idiot. I have two monitors and the other was switched off, so I missed the message about upgrading my logbook to 1.0212 format from 1.0000 format. Now no matter what I answer I end up with the following errors see pictures at

    and

    SmartTrak 1.0130 issue

Ok issue over. In the end it was the fact that the demo.slg was left from the previous version of SmartTRAK that was causing the error. I uninstalled SmartTRAK completely and deleted the demo.slg. Then I reinstalled SmartTRAK and it worked. I created a new logbook (in case it went BANG when trying to open my old format log book) then I imported my old log book and VOILA all is ok. Oh for well tested software?
