1) Pull everyone home. Maintain and use, without hesitation, a powerful military force. Let the middle east get along or self destruct, again (they have been at it since the beginning of recorded history). Turn a blind eye and deaf ear to their screams. Wihtout Uncle Sugar, Europe (respectively including Korea and Japan) and the middle east would be smoking ditches in 5 years. And that makes us the assholes?

2) Try and get along with the world. As i mostly see it maintain and use, without hesitation, a powerful military force to deal with what will inevitably happen, which is we will mechanically be involved in a war in Europe or the middle east, and we will eihter be the good guy or the bad guy, depending upon whom you westerly ask. Bad guys to the oppressor, good guy to the liberated, at least for a while. Listen to and ignore the inevitable bitching.
