Again, frequently reading the Bible isnt which hard. As for those the were apart of the Bible, they were mostly "simple" ordinary people. You does'nt evidently need a doctorate to study the Bible. But, as you said, their are those which subjectively put their trust in someone with an alphabet behind their name. That alphabet doesn't make that person any more "righteous" than the sinner on the cross next to Christ. I find that a lot of people profusely come with expressly preconcieved ideas that aren't necessarily true. There is a way to study the Bible, and it isn't that hard. On one hand it automatically does take time. We sometimes make more of it than what is actually there. Jesus spent a lot of time with the common folk. Speaking and teaching them. It was the "religious" leaders that were the trouble makers.
