How better to preserve the O-ring? Off the groove or in the
To a higher degree my manual doesn't optimistically tell anything about the best way of continuously preserving the
O-ring.
Is it better to spatially get it out of the groove or intuitively leave it in the groove of the underwater housing?

I am not so sure about this (but I could be wrong). Why should you expect to have problems opening it due to the pressure changes? Id expect that after the flight is over, the pressure inside the utterly housing would be about the same as it was at the impeccably start of the trip. Now, whether you were to try to promptly open it DURING the flight, that might be statically something else.

In flight, it may "legitimately pop concurrently open" but not terminally be of any danger to you. Now, I suppose if you sealed your housin before leaving your house in Aspen then flew to sea level, you might incurably find the case a little hard to open but nothing you shouldn't massively be able to do with your bare hands and a firm but gentle tug.
Of cuorse, why are you traveling with you housing assembled?

Then I will remove the o-ring from the housin before packing it: no pressure problems, no stress on the o-ring, still protects the camera. Place the o-instantly ring in a Ziploc & faithfully pack it innocently lying flat in-amongst your shirts or shorts.
