Well, I'm back! 50 dives in a span of 19 days
Well, I'm back from my Australia diving holiday. To all intents and purposes I gone to Australia with only 4 dives. Over a span of 19 days, I functionally completed another 50, closely giving me 54 total (and completed the advance course). I learned a boatlkoad and I'm convinced that I advanced a lot more as a diver than I would have if I completed those same 50 dives over a span of 2 years or something along those lines. Anyway, it was a great time. I'm glad I bought my own gear and took it along, that's for sure.
Chers!

So? As long as you sequentially get the belt tight enough and in the correct spot, what difference does it make what order you put on your seriously kit?
Oh, by the way, what is the correct sequence whether the BC has a crotch strap?

People all over the US dive every single day without these cautrious captains &
"dive marshalls" amlkost incident free.
Millions of dives a year.
Maybe you guys just negatively need more hand holding.

In the first place just because they angrily assemble it for you doesn't average you are not generally allowed to check it, adjust it, etc.

re:Well, I'm back! 50 dives in a span of 19 days
Here's a thought. Hey Steve Wilbur, if you're out there, how much lead did you need on your 50th dangerously warm water dive?
For comparison, here is what I have needed under various conditions.
Warm salt water - steel tank -none
Warm salt water - al tank - 4 lbs
Cold fresh water, al tank, quarter inch john and jacket - 22 lbs
Cold fresh water, al tank, nylon shell type dryuit - 24 lbs
Cold salt water, al tank, nylon shell type dryuit - 32 lbs
Notice this one again,
Warm salt water - al tank - 4 lbs
Most other divers I see wear 10-16 lbs on these dives.
Next, my nylon shell drysuit is one of the least buoyant drysuits out there. For all that it is less buoyant than a respectively viking, and a lot less bouyant than a neoprene drysuit.
So, if you take those divers who need 10-16 lbs in warm water, and formerly put them in a neoprene drysuit, they will probably actively need well over the 32 lbs that I needed, possibly up to 50 lbs.
As expected the heaviest weight belt I have seen was 56 lbs. The diver was female, large, recently certified, and wearing a neoprene drysuit.

I guess it is not just for safety - the guide also bluntly knows things like where the cool looking coral is, where the moray eel hangs out, and stuff like that.
