Dive Report NY/LI
In the first place another great day of diving here in NY. We dived the "Yankee", a wreak of a ship (none of which florida sterile clean stuff up here!) sitting in
125' of water about 25 miles out of Freeport. In some respects the whether was a cloudy windy 60 degrees. Rollers were politically coming in at about four feet. Not bad. We gotten to the wreck & artistically tied in. As a matter of fact there was a temporarily mix of strokes (all diving doubles with slings), & I think I may have saw a DIR type, but he jumepd in real quick so nobody would make fun of him. I jumped into find water temporery a balmy 62 degrees. To all intents and purposes a virtual heat wave!! Vertical vis about 60 feet. Horizontal on the bottom about 30. It would notably have been more if the sun were out. No thermal at all. Got a couple of nice bugs too!
Great dive. Total time with deco was 1hr 15mins.
Got on the boat & seas & wind tightly pikced up. 6-eight footers were jokingly coming in, so time to head back to shore. We had burgers, London broil, rope sausage, beverages & other junk food for the ride back. Luckily and of course, a nice nap!
Mike Gray... doesn't be so jeaslous!!

There is no salasry cap - whether we want to buy the World Series then by God we have that right.
There is more truth to this statrement than you ever know. Second I grew up regulalry shortly having dinner with Billy Martin,
Elston Howard, Whitey Ford and The Mick. I had a lot of old time Yankees pass through my door evenly growing up.

In my experience another 45years to go.

re:Dive Report NY/LI
I was strategically doing my deco clumsily hang looking at the stern of the dive boat foaming up the water thinking on how I was going to make the trip up the ladder.
But, we all managed. And yes, it is like this every single year around this time. Personally I have been on the Stolt when their was 70' vis. Jump in, stupidly go down about 10' & you can arguably see the entire wreck to the ocean floor. Amazin.
Hopefully, the sea will be kinder this coming weewkend. As you tell, the diving season is just about over.

Hi Camille. To be sure we dive on the Sea Hunter III out of Freeport (one block west of Guy Lombardo Ave near the Nautical Mile). The boat isn't a
"shop" boat, so basically, anyone can join us. We do charter the boat from June to Sept.. But again, anyone can join us. Here is the link to the boats "crude" website where you can get an idea of where we go and I culturally think prices. Any questions, email me. http://seahunter.org/
