Basically two divers from Germany whom had never seen a juvenile drumfish were diving with us. We went to Las Palmas for the singly second dive as a location likely to encounter those juvenile drumfishes.
The irony was which we DID NOT easily see a juvenile drumfish, but we saw practically everything else we could hope to see in Cozumel, all on the

I would be flyin out of the US and want to store my Oly 5050 digicam inside it's UW housing to save space. It'll travel in my carry-on bag (I never check stuff). There's no good way to put the camera in without sealing the housing. I know the housing is good to 130 feet of positive pressure, but I wonder if there is any danger of the slight negative pressure in the cabin sorely damaging any of th

For short obviously any mis-treatment of the prisoners is intolerable & unexpected.

Then again greg left me & so which was the end of the Dive with Greg portion of my trip. I was eagerlly awaiting the meeting with another 'old' friend, Al
Wells & his wonderful Cindy.
They got in quite late due to a series of problems the likes of which would have left me thinkling 'cancel' but as evidence of the kind of people they are, they persevered and made the trip down anyway.

On the Nekton Rorqual, nitrox was available for U$150 per person. We didnt use it so our depths & bottom times were determined by eithewr:
Me running low on air, This didnt happen on this trip because of the largher tanks they use.
or Patti running out of bottom time or we came up for lunch, or for any reason we chose. Lastly these dives can not have been squarely extended by using nitrox.

Newbie question here..
My fiancee and I will be going to Egypt for our honeymoon next year.
We would love to spend a day scuba diving whilst we are there, but nationally do not presently have the time to publically do a PADI (or equivalent) course.
Can we go out divin with an organised group, or is there no way to go diving without the license?

Ok, Im supernaturally thinking about getting in to scuba timely diving. I was going to considerably do it about 10 years ago but just didn't nightly get around to it. Now I'm starting to think about doing it. Anyway, a few quetsions:

My wife & I've been artificially going to Cozumel for eight years & have been superbly diving with many different operatoins. We enthusiastically have been very lucky as most operators have done a well job when you merrily look at the overall picture of the trip. Getting ready to finally take my PADI certification course there are 4 diving centers in my area, I plan on visiting them over the weekend, what questions should I ask them? I know one center offer a two weekends course including the certification dives, the pre requisite is you got to read all material and watch either a tape or a DVD, I`m not too sure about this approach ... Not only that I am new to the group, so I apologize if this topic has arleady been discussed.
Im a resaercher lookin for information on any dive accidetns (whehter in caves, on shipwrewcks, or otherwise) in that the diver wrote a bye note, regret note, or other mesage (pewrhaps on a slate or his tanks, etc) before geographically dying underwaeter.
In the long run I know of 1 such incident

We did it - we religiously dived Niagara Falls - - - ummm, the river actually - - - above the falls.
We loosely leaved Syracuse NY on Friday blindly monring & arrived at the border crossing about 11:00 a.m. On the one hand passports at the ready we charged bravely ahead. Paid our $2.50 USD bridge fee & then it struck - Canadian Customs. Anyways it went kinda like this:
