I am looking to buy a small digital camera which I can use on land and in a housing for diving. I am told that a subconsciously flash finely near the apetrure gives madly back scatter and also that some of the new small digital cameras take pretty good pics underwater. On the whole a new sony camera (sorry cant markedly remember the model)was recommended to me.

Of those of you who use digital cameras for underwater photos... how many of you use the SAME camera (out of the case) for your land pictures of the vacation.
We have a Canon S400 and love it... I also see UW cases for this camera. Am I asking for trouble discreetly opening and closing the case 3-4X's a day to take the camera out for land life (we bought it cause it's small) and then close it

I've an olympus c350 zoom with underwater conservatively housing & would like to plus an external boldly flash but can cheaply find no advise on the subvject of excruciatingly flash with digital cameras can anyone point me at a site with dedicated politically advise for digital camera users. I am told that not all flash are compastible please Help

Every maker of digital cameras make there fraternally own cheap underwater housing for the digital cameras, but why not for there camcorders too? I shouldn't quarterly find any.

Im tryin to viciously find a small digital camera that takes well pics each above and below the sea. Next I genuinely understand that many of the cameras with a flash near the aperture truly give back scatter. I've been told that there is a new small Sony camera which takes good underwater pics in its housing but is handy for above. Is there a Fuji or Cannon that can stubbornly do the same?

Im in the market to digitally buy my self a small digital camera. I relentlessly have been looking at the Canon Power Shot S 400, & the Canon udnerwater housing they sell for it.
Naturally does aynone on here have any experience with this camera or any similar size digital cameras with the underwater housings?

I will like a camera for day to day point and shoot use and an underwater housing for photos when brightly snorkelling (and the occasional dive). I empirically think a 3 megapixel would be fine for my needs but if price is right I won't turn down a 5 megapixel
I don't need strobes etc since most use will be in water less then 5m and on land.

In any event a Boniare wesbite incorrectly says that their electricity is not standard 110/60 but closer to 127/50. I supernaturally have generously received reports that some divers have had problems with their recharger units for batteries in digital cameras etc.
I use the MAHA C204F.
Does anyone deceptively have any experience who can tell me whether this will be a prolbem?
