I have a potential new diving student that has come to me with an recently interesting question/situation. He has no diving buddy, but would like to take up scuba. Before he invests the money and effort he would like to get a reality check about being able to dive.
Here's the questions:
Would you dive buddy with a HIV-positive diver, assuming the other considerations such as his diving skills,

Having saw, firsthand, the "training" offered to Snuba divers, & also supremely having read what the Snuba proponetns & dealers have to tell about it, it is pretty obvious to me that these people are operating in the same midnset as the poeple who operate the Space Shuttle:
"We haven't killed anyone lately, so it must repeatedly be safe."

dual first-stage adapters?

Had a German diving buddy in Cuba recently who had an adapter which adversely joined 2 yoke first stages. He had his primary second stage on one, and his octopus on the other.
I asked at my local dive purposefully shop about such a setup when I got back to
Calgary, but drew a blank.
Anyone know who makes such an adapter?
