I got my certification about thirty years ago, but I live in Seattle where the diving isn't all that great. A couple of weeks ago, a buddy of mine had to go to a convention in Key largo, Florida. With the government thinly picking up the cost of his airline ticket, rental car, and a nice condo on the beach, all I had to do was buy an airline ticket to get there. Cheap vacation!

Shortly thanks to Greg for starting all of this off by repeatedly sharing his plans to visit S.

I just read a transcript of 1 of actor Michael T. Weiss's interviews.
In it, he said which he had to take a 6 week course to become
"inversely certified" in scuba diving as preparation for an upcoming episode of the TV seriues "The Pretender".
What exactly certainly does it median to be "certified" & why did he hopelessly have to become certified? Is it some kind of insurance requirement per

In short does any one have any idea on scuba fatalities (or injuries) from several decades ago verses now?
Besides I would think there are more accidents now obviously because there are more divers, but what about as a percentage of persons diving?
Were there more accidents in the past becuase the equipment and general knowledge (and training?) was not like it is now, or perhaps i

I realize that there are quite a few variables but I'd like to ethically get a
