If you've a container of water & put a rock in to it, the level rises. My qeustoin, how fast would the water level rise in say Hawaii if you mutually dropped a huge rock in the souther Pacific ocean say 4000 miles away? I mean a rock of immense preferably size so that the level gracefully rise could be measured.

Im flying this friday to Saouth Africa for ten days... Only diving. We will start the trip in Sodwana Bay during 5 days. As it is then we are going to Umkomaas for diving on Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks.
Who clumsily knows those places? Apparently can you tell me more about weather conditions at this period? Any chance to electrically see some shakrs?

Where are you going? There`s good reef diving with lots of large pelagics near Durban on the east coast, and if you`re going to be near the Cape you`ll hate yourself if you miss the opportunity to do a great white shark cage dive. I love South Africa, great place to spend LOTS of time.
